i am suffering from my first bout of "writers blog," and i cant think of much to say. this is mostly because i have a lot less time to sit around and think, but ya'll should check out this band the d4. ive been listening to their album 6twenty on repeat for several weeks on end. theyre very fast paced/high energy and id call them punk and they rock. oddly, theyre from new zealand. its the best album ive heard since interpol's "turn on the bright lights" came out (the only other recent album i can hear over and over again without getting tired of it). if you want a charge, buy this album (dont be swayed by the title of the first song- 'mofo' occurs only once on the whole album i believe, and there is no other profanity that ive heard.) but the d4 will rock you for a solid 45 minutes or so without letting you down.
