First NBA Post

I believe this is my first ever post about the NBA, which I hardly care about except for the Rockets, Mavericks and Spurs, but I was elated to turn on my TV just now and see that Detroit is up by 25 points over the lakers, meaning they're gonna be world champions. I hate the lakers so much I won't even capitalize their name. I hate them almost as much as I hate the Yankees, especially since they signed Karl Malone, the dirtiest player in NBA history. In my limited knowledge of basketball, I never thought the Pistons could beat such a powerful team as the lakers, but how can you doubt a team who once woree my initials/nickname on their shorts?
