I didn't get to blog again before I left, but now if you want to find me, I'm in Trujillo, Pero, teaching English for the Peru Mission here. I start Monday. Hopefully, I can figure out how to upload pictures etc onto here. So far, I like it here. It's winter/late fall so it's nice and cool. It's also right on the beach so I intend to learn to surf. The people have been nice, as well. I haven't had too hard a time with the language barrier because I still remember a lot of Spanish from my last semester at Covenant. I can speak enough to get by.
I believe someone tried to kidnap me in Lima when I got off the plane. I was supposed to be picked up by an agent with a sign with my name on it, but some other guy tried to convince me to go with him. He was reading my name off of my luggage and telling me he was my ride and he even called his friend on his cell and told him to tell me I was supposed to go with him. I held out though and finally found the guy with the sign. So I stayed the night in Lima and flew up here the next day. Now it's time for lunch. Peace out, America.
